to (Father Thomas Hassett)
Hevia, 2nd Lieutenant of the Louisiana infantry and resident of this city, appears. Since he has been named to a detachment at one of the posts and cannot wait for the publication of the banns he asks to be dispensed from them and that a priest of the Cathedral marry them in the presence of the chaplain of the regiment.
Hassett, Father T(h)omas
The marriage is to be performed omitting the three banns. Fran(cis)co Bermudez certifies as secretary.
