The Story of Notre Dame
Brother Aidan's Extracts

Died March 22d, 1870

"This young Brother had been educated at Notre Dame. Son of a Convert widow, himself was baptized in our church when nine years old. He was talented, but his fiery temper put at defiance his instruction. He worked on our farm for a while, and then entered the novitiate as a Brother. His conversion was entire. Henceforth his life was that of a saint and he died a holy death in our infirmary in his 18th year." Rev. A. Granger, C.S.C., 1870
