"While our chief desire to give good Catholic training to the boys it will be necessary for gaining that end that the teachers be well qualified for instructing them in the ordinary branches of primary education, because we have a large Public School, every detail being well conducted. Not a few Catholics still send their children there because it costs less and also because, some of them say, the teaching is better than in our present school."
