Pedro Guels(?) of the Canary Islands appeared and testified that he had been present in 1791 when Pedro Larronde, commandant of the place, proposed that all deny themselves in order to give to the Church; the highest bid(?) went to Maria la Gallega for 91 pesos, to Solis for 101, and in succeeding years to others who will guarantee it with their receipts, as(?) Perera, Fran(cis)co de Armas and Fran(cis)co Cerpas. Guels is 74.

Perera of this parish appeared and testified that in 1791 he auctioned off(?) a cabaret to Maria Hernandez, known as la Gallega who offered to pay 91 pesos, the next year Solis for 101 pesos, the next year Solis for 101 pesos and for two consecutive years he has not auctioned it(?). Perera is 50.
