He is the son of Genoveva Bodoin and Sebastian Himel, son of Maria Yves(?) and David Himel. Maria Henrrieta is the daughter of Ines Bourvais and David Himel, son of another David Himel, the common stock. His fiancee's father is dead and her mother has 12 children and is very poor. It would be embarrassing for her if they do not marry.
