Nesbitt, Marian: Clevedon, (England)
to Father (Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Nesbitt thanks Hudson for the check. She is delighted he liked the Easter article, and hopes he will be pleased with the one sent on "St. Anthony: his Life and Influence". The facts in it are from very reliable authorities.

Pam, Max: New York, (New York)
to Father Daniel E. Hudson, (C.S.C.): Notre Dame, Ind(iana)

For some unaccountable reason, he has failed heretofore to acknowledge the clippings sent to him by Hudson some time ago. He is deeply sensible of Hudson's thoughtfulness.

Walsh, Ja(me)s J.: New York, (New York)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, C.S.C.: (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Walsh was sorry not to meet Hudson at Notre Dame. He will be back in the summer to lecture to the Sisters. He met the Assistant Editor of the Ave Maria. He is sending a copy of the second edition of the "Makers of Modern Medicine". It is now in its second thousand. It is his firstling and is especially tender to him. It is the standing proof that big men do not find opposition between science and faith.

1910 May 27
O'Kennedy, Father R(ichard): Fedamore, (Ireland)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

The feast of St. Bede reminds O'Kennedy of Aubrey de Vere who used to make such use of St. Bede's History. The Madonna arrived safely. This morning an Oberammergau crucifix came from Clifton, Bristol. O'Kennedy wants Hudson to see the "First Visit to the Sick". If Hudson can use them they are at his service. For the "Lenten Thoughts" for next year he has got a highly valuable letter from Father Herbert Lucas, S.J., Liverpool. Will any of Hudson's Fathers be over here this year or next? He could offer them a sight of two or three good boys.
