Curtis, Georgina Pell: (Chicago, Illinois)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Curtis thanks Hudson for permission to use the Fiddler story as a moving picture play. Movies have taken such an extraordinary hold of the public and are so terribly abused. If she had the money she would found a Catholic movie theatre. She saw Mary Pickford in "Such a Little Queen" and objects to the cabaret scene.

McBee, Silas: New York, (New York)
to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C.: Notre Dame, Ind(iana)

It is gratifying to have Hudson's encouraging words. Following Hudson's suggestion, he is forwarding the clippings to Dr. Deissmann who got his friend Dr. Meinertz to write that great article on "The Fact of the Resurrection" in The Constructive Quarterly for March 1915. McBee will have another article from an associate of Meinertz on the Catholic Faculty of the University of Munster, Professor Schmidlin.

Russell, Father W(illia)m T.: Washington, D(istrict of) C(olumbia)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Hudson's note on Wilson's recognition of Carranza is excellent. He is sure Hudson will see the wisdom of not saying much on this subject just now. When election time comes, Wilson's high-brow platitudes can be shown for what they are after his negotiations with that devil in Mexico.
