Fraser, Mary C(rawford): London, (England)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Her youngest son Hughie was killed in Flanders last August. The blow was a heavy one especially for his wife. The only man left alive in the family is her eldest son, Jack. He is in France. His wife is working for the Catholic Women's League. Kitty is doing her part. Fraser feels useless and her health has gone to pieces. She and Kitty are living together. She is not really sad—except at the continued horrors of the war.
