1916 Nov.4
Mannix, Mary E.: San Diego, Calif(ornia)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Mannix sends "Memories d'une Vieille Fille" for examination. She wishes Hudson could get her a book to translate—either Spanish or French. She has been attending the lectures of George Wharton James at the Exposition. James is lecturing on the poets of California. She does not like the man; he is a pagan. Has Hudson heard any good words of their little Cure?
