Heuser, Father Herman J(oseph): Overbrook, P(ennsylvani)a
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

It pleased Heuser to read Hudson's paper "The Propagation of Hate". What makes him loyal to his adopted country is the blessing of a Catholic baptism and a Catholic education. It amazed him to read the utterances of priests on this subject.

Vickrey, C(harles) V.: New York, (New York)
to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C.: Notre Dame, Ind(iana)

Vickrey, secretary of the American Committee for Armenian and Syrian Relief, thanks Hudson for the editorial sent and for the check. He encloses several cablegrams in which Hudson may be interested (no enclosure). They have references to the splendid work which the Sisters of Charity conducted throughout the Turkish regime in Southern Palestine. Their workers are cooperating with these sisters. Receipts from the Protestant Sunday schools have amounted to something more than $600,000 and the receipts from churches and Sunday schools in January will go beyond a million dollars.
