Courson, Countess B(arbara) de: (Paris, France)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Courson was anxious about none of her papers being published in the Ave Maria for so many months. Her connection with the Ave Maria is of such long standing that she looks upon it as a part of her life. These weeks bring back the memory of her husband's last days.

Atteridge, A. Hilliard: Isleworth, (England)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

Atteridge will likely use the Plunkett article later. Hudson is to use his notes on the Salvation Army. Helen was pleased with Hudson's kind message about her Irish articles. A publisher is now considering the question of a book. Atteridge thinks the Father (John) Morris, S.J. story has never yet been published anywhere. Morris was one of the Oxford converts and Master of Novices when Atteridge was a Jesuit novice. He was for many years Cardinal (Nicholas Patrick) Wiseman's secretary and a canon of Westminster. He was the postulator of the cause of Beatification of the English martyrs. Atteridge gives one of Morris' stories connected with Wiseman, about a Protestant woman who saw Wiseman in a dream the night he died. Atteridge encloses four photos that he took during a visit to Durham Cathedral a few years ago. They might make a good pictorial title for an article on Durham.
