Holmes, Marjorie: Bentham, England
to (Father Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana

Holmes is happy that Hudson kept her poem; she is going to bombard him with another poem. The check came this morning. The "Visit to the Blessed Sacrament" was beautiful. P.S. She is only 17.

1921 Jun. 7
Schwab, Charles M.: Loretto, P(ennsylvani)a
to Father D(aniel) E. Hudson, (C.S.C.): Notre Dame, Indiana

If Schwab had been in Hudson's place he thinks he would not have been tempted to part with so precious a relic; he deeply appreciates it. He is just approaching Cresson on his way home; he expects to attend Father (Ferdinand) Kittell's Golden Jubilee at Loretto today and will exhibit the cane with much pride. He, his wife, mother and father have such kindly recollections of Hudson.

1921 Jun. 12
Christitch, Annie: New York, (New York)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.): (Notre Dame, Indiana)

As Hudson says it will be better to hold over the printing of the leaflet until the autumn as they may have some more letters by then. She is still waiting to hear from the Apostolic Delegate. She has booked passage on the "Orduna" for next Saturday. She will write once more as she wants to tell Hudson about Philadelphia. On her return she will look up Miss Boyle O'Reilly who came to see them in London the year of the outbreak of the war.
