A friend handed a copy of Brownson's Review to Quinn. Having finished he gave it to his father to read. The reaction to both was very gratifying. Having married a Catholic, Quinn would like to know more of the Catholic religion. Quinn is near conversion but needs to inquire diligently of the Church's teachings. Quinn would like to know the subscription price, the number of issues already printed and how he can obtain them. The note is written in strict earnestness and compliance. He hopes Brownson will keep its contents to himself.
