Scope and Content

Records, primarily audio-visual, documenting the work of the WNDU-sponsored Junior Achievement project "Beyond Our Control"; consisting of hundreds of video and audio recordings, including raw and edited footage, show clips, sound effects, with an organized collection of many of the clips and a video of the 2001 BOC Alumni Reunion. With related printed material, ephemera, and photographs, including slides and scripts from recruiting presentations. Also plaques; a television-show credits board, a framed 1973 NATPE award; a foamcore board with alumni signatures, a broken award, and the set of wooden B-O-C letters used by the group.

Background

WNDU ran weekly "Beyond Our Control" television comedy shows written and produced by local high school students during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
