Papers (1960-1997) collected by Marilyn K. Lukas documenting the Lay Apostolate: Cardijn Associates, Young Christian Workers, Christian Family Movement, and the work of Msgr. Reynold Hillenbrand; 9 audio cassettes (mostly Cardijn Associates tapes, 1991-1997, including two by Fr. Steven Avella); and 10 CDs containing an audio recording of Msgr. Reynold Hillenbrand conducting a CFM retreat in the 1950s; and digital files containing newsletters published by Cardijn Associates.

Background

Marilyn K. Lukas is a member of Cardijn Associates, a group that since the 1990s has carried on the tradition of Cardinal Cardijn and his movements of the lay apostolate, such as Young Catholic Workers and the Christian Family Movement. Msgr. Reynold Hillenbrand served as chaplain for these movements in the United States.
