The Bulletin consisted of articles on current news, education, moral issues, etc., letters from politicians and religious leaders, proceedings of meetings, resolutions, and copies of speeches. Also included is a letter concerning the suspension of the Bulletin (225) and duplicate copies from the years 1911, 1912, 1914.
The service addressed a variety of topics: War, Foreign Diplomacy, Labor questions, moral issues, relations with Protestants, the economy, and patriotism.
Some of the material is reflections by Frank and Richard Matre in letters to Sister Francis, and some of the material concerns Matre's life after the AFCS years. Included is Matre correspondence (originals and handwritten copies), material concerning a scandal associated with a Judge Wilfley in Shanghai, addresses by Matre and other material concerning his lecture activities, and material on Matre's death in 1934.
