Correspondence, newspaper clippings, case records, essays, and speeches relating to Boland's membership on city, state and regional committees, including the Buffalo Committee on the Stabilization of Unemployment (1930-1931), the Cosmopolitan Club of Erie County, New York (1931), the Catholic Industrial Conference of America (1934), the Buffalo Labor Board, and the New York State Labor Relations Board (1939-1942). Many the clippings collected in Boland's scrapbooks relate to these committees (see SRAPBOOKS SERIES, boxes 6-17). Some of the scrapbooks were compiled while Boland was chairman of the New York State Labor Relations Board.
