Because Edwards was a collector and because this collection's
provenance has been disturbed over the years, several items in this
collection exist which do not belong to any series and may or may not
be Edwards'.

Scrapbook compiled by Edwards of famous autographs and personal
mementoes, including: Certificate of Admission into the Arch
Confraternity of the Sacred and Immaculate Heart of Mary, 1866; letters
and photographs from Brother Paul Jausions; letters from Thomas John
Capel, Ellen Ewing Sherman, Antonia de La Bastida y Plancarte,
Archbishop of Mexico, and other bishops and archbishops. Miscellaneous
signatures including Bishop Simon Gabriel Brute; Thomas John Capel;
Albert Galen, Attorney General of Helena, Montana; and Monseigneur de
la Hailandiere. The scrapbook has been dismantled in order to remove
as much acidic backing paper as possible and has been left in original
order; the miscellaneous signatures are arranged alphabetically.
