Original and copied manuscripts collected by Edwards and others. Includes a copy in English of a letter from the Empress Carlotta to the Duchess Aosta, Queen Elect of Spain; a story by "Nemo" in America Catholic News (New York, 30 November 1887, Volume 2); a history of the Irish people, no author given; "The Influence of Christianity upon Slavery," by Arthur W. Stace; a treatise in German on beer; and other documents (mostly fragments) in Latin, French, Italian, and English.

11.- - French, 4 pages, prayer to angels? Attached is 2 pages, list of saints, also in French. No identification.

12.- - "Extract from letter of instructions". 3 pages, Latin. Decisions of "Capitulum Neo-Eboracensem" (New York)

13.- - 4 pp. On the establishment of the "New York Mother's House", for destitute (unmarried) pregnant women, by the Sisters of Mercy. regulations, organization. No name or date.
