Background

Adrian and Marie Reimers, a married couple, belonged to a charismatic convenant community called "People of Praise" in South Bend, Indiana. After leaving the community, they spoke out against what they considered to be its objectionable qualities, and founded an organization called "Free Again in Christ" to help former members of such groups.
