Background

Dr. Thomas A. Dooley founded MEDICO and served as a medical missionary in Laos and wrote books about his experiences (Deliver Us from Evil, The Edge of Tomorrow and The Night They Burned the Mountain. Paul Hellmuth served as chair of the executive committee of MEDICO.
