(Penalver) has agreed with the governor that of the 1213 pesos held by the fabrique of the church, 1000 are to be used for construction and the rest to be supplied by the neighborhood. The governor is writing today to Zenon Troudeaux (Trudeau) and Didie(r) is to communicate with him and also with Father James Maxivell (Maxwell) so that it will not be very great and will be carried with not the least hardship by the inhabitants. Troudeaux is prudent and will moderate the affair with equity.
