Dispensation asked by Pedro Gaudeau to marry Eugenia Gaudeau.

Gaudeau, a native of Punta Cortada and resident of Avoyelles, appeared and stated that he wished to marry Eugenia Gaudeau of the same place but cannot because of an impediment. He asks (Penalver) to receive testimony on these points: that he is the son of Pedro Gaudeau and Maria Dufour, that Eugenia Gaudeau is the daughter of Antonio Gaudeau and Juana Chatelerau, that Pedro's father and Eugenia's father are sons of Miguel (Gaudeau) and Teresa Duche; that they and their fathers are poor, cultivating the soil. He has come down to beg (Penalver) to grant a dispensation.

He signs as Antoine Revoil.

Penalver grants the dispensation under certain conditions including confessions and attendance at Mass, after which a letter will be sent to the pastor of Our Lady of Carmel that he may marry them. Quintero certifies this decree and notified Gaudeau and the pastor.
