to Nicolas Maria Vidal

Among the vacant parishes is St. Francis of Pointe Coupee. San Pedro has offered his services. He had been dismissed from the diocese for some faults which Penalver believes have been expiated. He has a patent from his father general permitting him to remain permanently. Penalver is incited to admit him again and assign him to Pointe Coupee. If Vidal as royal Patron will consent, Penalver will give him a title. A copy of the letter sent to the governor.
