He asks that testimony be heard on these points: He is a native of Sa(n)malo of Great Brittany in France, son of Maria Fran(cis)ca Bourque and Juan Lo(n)gue Epee, son of Ambrosio Longue Epee and Ana Brasor. Maria Leblan, a native of Nantes, is the daughter of Targile Hebert and Juan Leblanc, son of Simon Leblanc and Margarita Bourque. His fiancee's parents are very poor, he has enough to help take care of them.

Father Paul presents the bearer John Jaques Longepee, inhabitant of this parish of St. Gabriel at Yberville for about sixteen years who asks for a dispensation from the 3rd degree of parentage as shown by the attached paper. Almost all the inhabitants come from Acadia and are related. The father of the girl is an old man wanting help.

Jean Bourque married Maria Aucoint of which marriage was born Joseph and Margueritte. Margueritte married Simon LeBlanc of which marriage was born Jean LeBlanc who married Targile Hebert of which marriage was born Maria Rose LeBlanc. Joseph Bourque married Francoise Dugat of which marriage was born Marie Francoisse Bourque who married Jean Longue Epee of which marriage was born Jean Jacques Longe Epee.
