Bouligny, a lieutenant of the Louisiana Infantry, has arranged to marry Ana Leblanc, daughter of Valentin Leblanc, former lieutenant of this regiment. He asks (Hassett) to dispense him from two of the banns as any impediment would have shown up during the time of waiting for the license.

The Governor General has today informed Collell as follows: On April 15 the Captain General of these provinces told him that the Secretary of State and War Office informed him on September 12 of the following royal order: the king gives Bouligny permission to marry Ana but without the right to benefits from the Widows' and Orphans' Fund if he does not die in battle.
