Bouligny, a lieutenant of the Louisiana Infantry, has arranged to marry Ana Leblanc, daughter of Valentin Leblanc, former lieutenant of this regiment. He asks (Hassett) to dispense him from two of the banns as any impediment would have shown up during the time of waiting for the license.
