Solana, Father Domingo Joachin
New Orleans, (Louisiana)

to (Father Thomas Hassett
New Orleans, Louisiana)

Solana, who last June was appointed to the parish at Galveston, has remained there with a noticeable breakdown in health. In order to recover it is necessary to return to the capital. For the most part, he had not resided there as pastor because of the bad water and because of the small population of only about 24 Catholic homes served regularly by the next parish. Also there are a great many languages not understood by Solana. Since there is a vacancy at The Turn, Solana asks to be assigned there.
