Morales has turned over to the city treasurer, Juan Baut(is)ta Labatut, 3036 pesos, 1/2 real, the balance remaining in the strong box in Morales' charge as belonging to the Cathedral. Labatut received the keys in the presence of the commissioners, Josef Faurie, and Pedro Petit, after having counted the money and turned over the monthly account as ordered in Hassett's letter of December 7. By this letter Hassett ordered Morales to close the accounts as of November 30.
