Notes: It appears that this school year marked the beginning of a tradition of producing a play on Easter Monday and President's day at Notre Dame. It is believed that the President's Day plays originated out of honor for President Washington, for whom the theatre building is named and the upsurge of patriotism in the North after the Civil War. The performance was followed by the Senior Prom.
