AMBROSE, BROTHER (HART, JOSEPH J.)
"Brother Ambrose died at St. Edwards University, Austin, Texas recently. For many years he had taught English there. Previously he was connected with the schools of the Brothers in Chicago, Austin, and Ottawa, Illinois. He was educated in the parish school of Troy, New York and at Notre Dame. Brother Ambrose was born in Troy seventy years ago, entered the Congregation of Holy Cross in 1887, and made his final vows four years later. His family name was Joseph J. Hart."
