CHURCH GOING

"Mr. Shane complained of the lengthy services which the students were obliged to attend. Resolved:

'The offices of Sunday shall be shortened and consequently the English preacher shall be informed of the decision and the French preacher shall not exceed five minutes. The pupils shall not assist at offices celebrated on week days.

'Previously the Council had voted with great reluctance that for the future there should be one Mass a week for the pupils."
