In reply to the letter forwarded by Dr. E.J. Wheeler, Rolt-Wheeler, says all three editions of "Science-History" have been sold, after being on the market a little more than a year. The set may be enlarged in the future and Rolt-Wheeler will be glad to examine for publication Clarke's data and charts.

Tiernan sends the manuscript of the first chapters of her new story. Father (Thomas) Burke of the C(atholic) W(orld) was very glad to get the Christmas story and paid for it promptly. Since he assumed control of the magazine its improvement has been very great.

Woodlock submits a piece on "Weekend Retreats for Men". He is one of the organizers of this work and greatly interested in pushing it along. He signs it "Andrew Prout", the name he uses for this purpose. He has written a number of pieces for "America" under this pseudonym; he chose it after his grand-uncle Father Prout.

Flood has material left over from his article on "Motet" for the Catholic Encyclopedia and sends it to Hudson. The article throws quite a bit of light on the Easter hymn.
