Pam, Max:
Chicago, (Illinois)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.):
(Notre Dame, Indiana)
It is too bad Hudson did not act on the impulse to come to Chicago. Pam will lay aside anything on hand to be with Hudson. It will give him great pleasure to have access to the Lincoln address whenever it becomes available. The editorial on his address in "The Editorial" was very complimentary and he would like 50 or 100 copies for distribution. A lawsuit has somewhat disarranged his summer plans, but he hopes to get 2 or 3 weeks at Estes Park and the Colorado mountains within the next 5 or 6 months.

Some years ago there was a discussion about the adjective "blessed" and she wrote an article about it for the Ave Maria, but she thinks it was not printed. She wrote to Cardinal Gasquet for an answer to the question and received it today.

Waggaman encloses receipt for the check of $50 for the copyright of Killikinnick. She is off to the Alleghenies on Monday next. She has never been in the real mountaintops before. It should help her story writing.
