to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, C.S.C.:
(Notre Dame, Indiana)
Willman will forward a copy of "Married Life" to the Bishop. If he could afford to do so he would send a copy to every bishop and parish priest. There are a few priests who do not think such teaching is good for young adults, but they have not seen the cases that an observant physician must face weekly. It would change their minds. Willman is having the second edition printed and encloses an ad (no enclosure) for the book to be placed in the Ave Maria.

O'Connell, Daniel T.:
Washington, D(istrict of) C(olumbia)
to
The demand for (Michael J.) O'Brien's book is heavy thanks to Senator (John S.) Williams' attack. Senator (George H.) Moses has made a splendid impression in the Senate. O'Donnell met friends of Moses in New Hampshire and from them he learned of Moses' sincere friendship for those of Irish blood. P.S. The Ave Maria's circulation of 30,000 must make it a powerful publication. Father Cavanaugh is a friend of O'Donnell's family. Cavanaugh is in Washington and O'Donnell will call upon him.

After finishing his work in Paris he was sent here on a special mission. He hopes to get back to Washington early in 1920. The delay in signing the Peace Treaty with Turkey complicates matters in Palestine.
