Walsh, Louis J.:
Draperstown, (Ireland)
to Father (Daniel E.) Hudson, (C.S.C.):
Notre Dame, Indiana
Helen Atteridge has asked Walsh to send Hudson a copy of his book "On My Keeping." Atteridge tells him what a good friend of Ireland Hudson has always been. If Hudson thinks the book would be of interest to American readers, could he arrange for an American edition?

McSherry, Virginia:
Littlestown, Pennsylvania
to Father Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C.:
(Notre Dame, Indiana)
McSherry is sorry for the mistake about quotation marks. Her hands are disabled from rheumatism and her work suffers. She was encouraged by Sister Rita, and by Bishop McSherry. Father McSherry, her great uncle, and his parents lived near the scene of the manifestation of the Clip Spirit at Smithfield, Virginia. The law suit pending in the court for forty years was settled only a few days ago in favor of Bishop O'Connell of Richmond giving his 40 acres of land left to the Church by Adam Livingston who was instructed by the spirit voice. A volume edition by Father Finotti, S.J. gives all the details.
