Handley, Marie Louise:
Rome, (Italy)
to Father (Daniel E. Hudson, C.S.C.):
(Notre Dame, Indiana)
Handley has been travelling and sightseeing so she found it impossible to write. Sister Angelique and she parted in Paris and Handley went on to England to see her brother's family. Sister was not permitted to come to Rome. She was born and educated in Rome and worships the dust of it. Sister sails for America today. At Lourdes she was asked to beg Hudson to accept an ad for the place where she stayed—to make it known in America. Handley asks for a copy of "The Legend of the Golden Altar" if it appeared. She goes on to Naples on June 3.
