Keppler is getting ready to leave for Germany after two years of work in the United States. Hudson has given her great assistance in her work of relieving the poor German sufferers. She leaves New York on August 2 and will go to Berlin to report to Frau Hedwig Dransfeld who has again been elected with Helena Weber to the Reichstag. Later she will go to her brother-in-law in Rottenburg. She will make a tour of inspection of their Catholic institutes.

Cessou thanks Hudson after a three year delay for the receipt of the Ave Maria. The Ave Maria was not unknown to him; he had gone through collections of it in Nigeria. He circulates the issues among the Fathers and Sisters and among the "elite" of his Christians.
