Background

Dr. Thomas A. Dooley founded MEDICO and served as a medical missionary in Laos and wrote books about his experiences ( Deliver Us from Evil , The Edge of Tomorrow and The Night They Burned the Mountain . Paul Hellmuth served as chair of the executive committee of MEDICO.
