Except for the 1817 edition, we have at least one printed volume to represent every year. In years when more than one publisher was producing the Catholic Directories, we often have printed copies from each publisher. The volumes are arranged in chronological order on the shelf.

For nineteenth-century directories, we have the microfilm edition produced by the Catholic University of America and another set of microfilm produced here. For the twentieth century, we have only the microfilm produced here, as the Catholic University microfilm publication ends with the reel for 1899.
