This series and "1. Named Files" contain identical types of documents and information; only the filing arrangement is different.

It is impossible to separate Francis P. Clark's personal and professional finances; the following series therefore contains both types of records as well as everything that falls inbetween.

Cardfiles and typed and manuscript lists, mainly compiled by Francis P. Clark but also including lists sent to him, describing newspaper holdings and holdings on microfilm; or giving citations for books, articles, and serials of interest. These records are in an extreme state of disorder, but the cards detailing the specific issues of newspapers that (presumably) comprise the microfilm editions of different titles can be, in certain situations, of especial value.

Flyers, catalogues, off-prints, pamphlets, book reviews, clippings, notes, etc. concerning books, repositories, and microfilm topics of presumed interest to Francis P. Clark.
