These files contain memoranda, motions, briefs, notes, correspondence, decisions, and other material relating to various civil rights cases both planned and actually prosecuted. A note at 004 on reel 18 states that the files were filmed in the order in which they were found, starting with doc number 2470, corresponding to Atlas and USA v. Gremillion (in the U.S. Department of Justice series above). It also says that the file titles do not always reflect the contents of the file.
