Of special interest are the well-documented examples of social projects initiated by the Grail in New York, San Jose and especially Lafayette where the Grail was involved in black voter registration in the early 1960s. Also of interest are the Chicago files which are really reports from Doddridge Farm, and also contains the telegram inviting the Grail to establish itself in the United States.
