  A letter to "Dick" about community politics and news from ND. Mentions John O'Neil. The letter is bitter and sarcastic - Joe is obviously disillusioned with the CSCs. He has obtained a has obtained a post office box in South Bend so that his correspondence won't be censored.

  He will accept Corbe's advice of yesterday [to stay put ?] in order to help the poor sisters and children, but he is very eager to begin missionary work after easter. If there is no prospect of doing so, he will retire from the world to render to God the hommage and love he isn't receiving from these others.
