This collection consists of 2 record storage boxes of material received from Fr. Thorton in 1982. The first box consists primarily of notes written by Fr. John F. O'Hara as Military Ordinate during WWII while Fr. Thorton served as secretary to the Military Ordinate.

The second box contains Fr. John F. O'Hara correspondence as well as marriage records, Christmas cards, mailing lists, some personal Thorton correspondence, and printed material.
