Discusses how and why Metzger was scentenced to death due to his publicly open objection to WW II and the reaction of various people. He asked for Jim's reaction to a guy threatening of writing to Pope Paul about the situation and calling for immediate disciplinary action by the Bishop. Jim suggested that no attention be paid to the man and included a xeroxed copy of the most obscene letter he received from a NY lawyer.
