- CZHN 4/04899 Correspondence : Stewart Meacham 1970
Letter to Gordon Zahn ~ Writes at length about the violence and bombings in Vietnam. Thinks generally this is not the way for a group to go about instilling change, although has seen it work. Talks of the SDS'ers and the immorality of our involvement in Vietnam. Seems immorality from the left or immorality from the right cannot be so decerned because it creates a vicious circle. Goes on to say, however, that the violence from the left is microscopic compared to the violence of the status quo. Discusses possible ad in the New York Times, but fears it would be "damning both your houses".
