The Adjustment

As a result of the Helsinki agreements, East and West are beginning to adjust to each other. This year scholars and scientists from East Germany and other East Bloc countries have come inconspicuously as visitors to America. Without much difficulty, one has reconciled oneself in the United States with the reality of two German states. Thus, one meets at universities here visiting scientists and guest professors from West and East Germany without seeing it as something much out of the ordinary.

The XII Winter Olympic Games in Innsbruck

The XII Winter Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria, have been carried out with exemplary organization and no incidents. For hours every day, ABC televised dazzling pictures from the Winter Olympics. Thereby, Innsbruck and the Tyrol have become widely known in America.
