Political Terror

The assassination in broad daylight of Generalbundesanwalt Siegfried Buback in Karlsruhe not only left the German population horror-stricken, but made also the public throughout Europe once more realize that there is an underground terrorism at work, which does not recoil from any act of brutality.

[Transl: Generalbundesanwalt is the Chief Prosecutor of the German Federal Republic at the Federal Constitutional Court in Karlsruhe.]

Urbi et Orbi

It is one of the most moving moments in the Christian world when the Holy Father proclaims, from the Loggia of the Vatican, the Easter message and gives the blessing Urbi et Orbi in 14 languages before 200,000 faithful assembled at St. Peter’s Square. Pope Paul VI is keeping up his physical strength admirably, although the frailty of advanced age is being felt.
