The Story of Notre Dame
Brother Aidan's Extracts

ALBEUS, BROTHER (ROBERT CLARKE)

"Brother Albeus was called to his eternal reward after a long illness, on November 9. He was born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1869, received the habit, January 6, 1914, and made his final vows September 8, 1917. He had successively been a prefect in Brownson Hall, Notre Dame, representative of the AVE MARIA, both here and in Australia, and guest- master at the University of Notre Dame. Ill health forced him to give up work several years ago. His end was hastened by a paralytic stroke, suffered on the morning of his death." Associate of St. Joseph, 3:1, 1933
