STANISLAUS, BROTHER (Michael Kurowski, Died Jan. 11, 1913)
"Polish educators and Catholic priests from several cities are in Chicago today to attend the funeral of Brother Stanislaus, for thirty-five years a teacher of the Holy Cross Order, who died unexpectedly in Chicago on Monday. The services will be held at Holy Trinity Church, where the body is lying in state. Hundreds of friends of the dead teacher have passed the bier. The body will be taken to La Salle Street Station at noon and then to Notre Dame University for burial....
"The Reverend Maximus Kotecki pastor of Saints Peter and Paul Church, one of the pupils of Brother Stanislaus, will preach the sermon. Reverend Roman Marciniak, S. B. another pupil will sing the Mass. Fifteen other former priest pupils will also participate.
"Brother Stanislaus was born in Galicia 61 years ago."
